The FEAR Team Development Plan outlined a plan to develop the skills of a large core group of players (the development squad) and to select teams from this squad for various leagues, tournaments, and other events.

The first team selected from the squad is for the next Perth Ultimate League Division-2 team ‘FEARLESS’.  All other FEAR players, including those in the development squad who are currently not in the Fearless team, will be split amongst the Fearsome and Fearocious teams.

For those players in the development squad who have not been selected in the primary team – your skills and expertise is still required on the other Div-2 teams, now more than ever. Note that this FEARLESS team will change when we move into Division 1, those players that have consistently played well with the other teams and trained hard on Sundays will have an opportunity to move into the primary team.

The preliminary selections (subject to change) for the FEARLESS team for the next PUL Div-2 are as follows:

Mark Aisbett Mick Canci Cobey Mills
Steve Baker Scott Hughes Craig Morgan
Dave Briggs Dion Lewis Mike Von Bergheim
Vicki Kueppers Sabrina Moro MJ Rigby
Michelle Gardner Katrin Pfister Gemma Whitfield

Those players listed above are strongly recommended to attend the Sunday training sessions in order to guarantee keeping their place on the team. As outlined in the development plan, this team will play in the next PUL in Division 2, then move to Div-1 in the following league.

The remainder of players who have nominated for the development squad are:

Stephen Ball Gareth McDonald Ken Summers
Mike McClerie Matthew Stacey Antony Woodard
Dave Long

If you want to be considered for selection in the primary team for the next event, just nominate yourself to be on the devleopment squad, continue to play in your existing Wednesday league teams (Fearsome or Fearocious), and come along to the Sunday training sessions.

If you are currently not interested in (or not ready for) playing Div-1, but DO want to improve your skills (individual and team skills) then please come along to the Sunday training sessions.  These sessions are open to ALL FEAR PLAYERS, and we already have several players attending Sunday training who are not currently interested in being part of the development squad at this time.
