LEAGUE:
Another league season has come to an end, which means a new season is about to start. I have already registered Fearsome in B division, I haven’t yet registered Fearless as I’m uncertain whether that team will play in A-div or B-div. A decision will be made there shortly. Please register yourself on one of these teams as soon as possible.
DINNER:
The end of league also means end-of-league dinner. Dinner is this coming Wednesday 3rd September, to be held at The Generous Squire, 397 Murray St Perth at 7pm This place is B88 in the Entertainment Book – bring your vouchers!. Please reply to me (not the whole list…) or join the Facebook event so that I can confirm numbers.
AGM:
The FEAR Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 24th September, at UWA Sports Park. Exact time is yet to be determined, it will start some time between 6:10 and 9:00 when we are not playing. We’ll know more when the draw is published…
Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM and contribute, although only financial (paid!) members are eligible to vote. Note that all memberships expired on May 1st, so if you haven’t renewed your membership since that date then please make sure you do that soon.
At the AGM we will vote to appoint people to the executive committee (Pres, Vice Pres, Secretary, and Treasurer). The Exec can appoint other people in general committee positions. Volunteers for positions on the Exec or general positions are welcome – we meet for a few hours every couple of months, the workload is not too demanding. HAVE A SAY IN HOW YOUR CLUB IS RUN.
TRAINING:
Training is currently planned to resume on Sunday mornings from 14th September. Training runs from 9:00am to about 11:00am (sometimes as long as 11:30 if we don’t want to stop playing). Keep an eye on the FEAR website and Facebook page for more information.
