Thanks to all those that took the time to respond to the recent FEAR players survey. The information has been very useful, and there is some great feedback for the club. The results are:
Total Responses: 29
On the Fear Ultimate mailing list: 23 yes, 5 no, 1 not sure (5/5 ‘No’ votes had never heard of it…)
On the wafda-announce mailing list: 16 yes, 9 no, 4 unsure (most ‘No’s had not heard of this list)
On Facebook: 25 yes, 4 no
FEAR Club Member: 15 yes, 14 no
Training availability – Sunday early AM was by far most popular, almost double the next most common option.
Participation: most people keen to enter Div 2 (26) and Perth tournaments(22), and enough for a team in Div 1 (15), as well as tournamens elsewhere in WA (14), in Australia (12) and overseas (15). Of course, money is the determining factor for travelling to tournaments.
What does FEAR do well?
The most common commens here are that we are friendly, welcoming, supportive, and encouraging. Good communication also had a mention.
What can we do better?
Several comments that we need to cater for those players wishing to train harder and extend themselves to compete at higher levels.Without alienating those players that just want to play socially, of course. Also a few requests for more social events.
There were quite a few comments in these last sections, including the ‘Any other suggestions’ box, that have not been included here. All comments have been recorded, read and discussed at the most recent committee meeting, and actions are being taken to address everything raised. For those interested in reading all the comments, the full summary is available for download.
Thanks again to those who contributed.
