Coaching Clinics

FEAR is running lunchtime coaching clinics on Wednesdays in the city, aimed at novice-level players.  Clinics run from 12:15 to 13:00 at the Esplanade, and includes help with throwing and various Ultimate skills.  Bring sports gear, hat, sunscreen, water bottle. 

Cost is FREE.  Please contact Ken by email on summers (@) iinet.net.au if you are interested in participating, as clinics are only run on demand.

Monday evenings, Thomas Oval in Medina, from 18:00-19:30

Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Perth Esplanade (near the Atrium) from 12:15 - 13:00. 

Players of ALL levels are welcome, including outright beginners.  Coaches will be on hand to show you how to play, and to help improve your throwing.

The FEAR Ultimate Disc Club is holding a special club meeting on Sunday, 11th February to discuss a number of important items pertaining to the future directions of the club.  All club members (and non-members with something to contribute) are encouraged to attend.

Amongst the items to be discussed are:

  • Current financial position
  • Re-imbursemens for WUCC competitors
  • WAFDA Club Affiliation
  • FEAR Club home base/location
  • Regionals - March 11
  • Nationals 2007 - squad, costs, training, etc.
  • Hosting a tournament
  • Club membership fee schedule
  • Club promotion / membership drive
  • Fund-raising for Regionals/Nationals and other events
